Strategies for Participatory Co-Creation
About This Course
Designing products, services and internal processes has often been a top-down, inside-out activity. However, in today’s hyper-connected global environment, it has become necessary to use more progressive approaches such as design thinking for innovation and productivity. New value and competitive advantage can be captured via fluid networks, co-creation, user-generated content, and iterative design. In this context, the workshop presents the author’s ‘8 Is’ framework of design thinking: intent, insights, immersion, interaction, ideation, integration, iteration and intensification.
This workshop covers case studies of successful design thinking in action, and roadmaps for blending knowledge management (KM) with two-way cooperation between stakeholders. Participants will learn success principles for effective process design with employees, multiple ways of framing a problem domain, and useful resources for systematically harnessing design approaches.
